Cruising on the Tweed: Revs and Rockabilly

IF you're a car enthusiast, rockabilly fan or just want to have a great couple of days out Revs in Rockabilly is your kind of event.

Revs in Rockabilly will be held at Pioneer Country in Tweed Heads on February 15-16.

The event will kick off with a Car Cruise on the Saturday evening followed by a display at Pioneer Country.

DJ Jimmy D, arguably one of rockabilly's best DJ's will be supporting the Zephyr Project with some toe tapping beats.

Sunday will kick off mid morning with the Show n Shine event which was a big success last year.

"We had more than 200 cars turning out for the Shannon's Show 'n' Shine last year" Chief executive Bob Newman said.

Warren Earl Band and Skooterz will finish the day off with support by DJ Rhythm Man Mark O'Brien.

Giving punters some added motivation to dress in theme Mr Newman said If attendees come dressed in the '50s & '60s theme next year their entry fee will be half of the advertised price.

With such success last year this year's event is anticipated to be bigger and better than ever.

Tickets are available at the gates.
