Five fun things to do on the Tweed this weekend

School fete's are great

CUDGEN School Fete is on Saturday 26 October in the school grounds at 11 Collier St Cudgen. There will be an array of things for the kids to do from the Super Slide, pony rides, jumping castle and tea cup rides. So while the kids are enjoying all of this take a look at the village market place where you will be delighted by second hand goods, bric-a-brac, homemade arts and crafts. There is also the famous lucky dip where everyone is a winner as well as the ever popular show bags, face painting and creative nail art. There will be raffles galore with the major prize being a family holiday to Hamilton Island and Cent Auctions will run continuously. If all this sounds exhausting, you can settle down and slow down the pace with a lovely fresh Devonshire tea and a great cuppa, where you can sit in the tranquil garden enjoying the ocean views; or enjoy some Japanese pancakes, egg and bacon rolls, B.B.Q lunch and cold refreshments. So come and join the Cudgen Public School community from 9am-1pm for a morning filled with fun.
