Cyclist treated after being hit by truck

A CYCLIST was taken to Tweed Hospital after being hit by a truck in Tugun on Tuesday.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said they were called just before 12 noon (Qld) to the incident on Coolangatta Rd.

The cyclist, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital in a stable condition with hip and leg injuries.
