The Daily Mail cops flak for spoiling Bachelorette finale
FANS of The Bachelorette took to social media last night to blast The Daily Mail for publishing photos which appeared to give away the show's ending.
Several hours before the finale of the reality dating show began in the east coast states on daylight savings time, images appeared online showing winner Sasha Mielczarek and Sam Frost together in a Sydney hotel room.
The story did not come with the standard spoiler warnings viewers have come to expect with stories that discuss crucial plot points or grand final results.
According to Mumbrella, the images could violate the Press Council's privacy principles if the couple did not cooperate with the shoot.
The website quickly became a trending topic on Twitter, with some fans using language that won't be repeated here.
The Daily Mail took down the story several hours later after Channel 10 went to the NSW Supreme Court last night to secure an injunction.
Cannot believe they ruined #BacheloretteAU finale...is nothing sacred in this country anymore?
