DAISI opens it's doors

THE Disability and Aged information Service (DAISI) opens its new office at Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads tomorrow, with Tweed MP Geoff Provest as guest speaker.

DAISI CEO and chair of the National Disability Advocacy Network Dona Graham will also speak about the services provided by the information service.

DAISI is an award winning community based not-for-profit organisation grounded in Lismore and services the communities of the NSW far north coast.

Founded in 1992, the service aims to provide information that is relevant and accessible to the aged, those of all ages with a disability, the disadvantaged and marginalised in the community and their families, carers and advocates.

The organisation is funded through the NSW government's Department of Human Services - Ageing and disability and Home care (ADHC).
