Dalby twins moved to tears by House Rules renovation

BROTHERS Luke and Cody Cook couldn't have asked for a better birthday present than a lovingly restored home.

In House Rules' most emotional home reveal yet, the twins toured their Dalby cottage which has undergone a full interior makeover.

Homeowner Luke hadn't even been in the house for a minute before bursting into tears.

"These cheeky little buggers have done a cracking job," he said.

He later told the teams: "I don't normally cry but you guys really turned my house from a halfway house to a home."

His brother and housemate Cody got a George Clooney-inspired bedroom with a bar fridge and dramatic bedhead.

"This is so much better than what I could have ever even expected," Cody said.

Judge Wendy Moore declared it her favourite house renovation in the history of the show.

Parents Claire and Hagan earned a perfect score of 30 from the judges and the brothers for delivering a comfortable country kitchen, complete with upcycled wagon wheel chandeliers, and a handmade, pier-inspired bed for the guest room.

The five teams also went the extra mile to build a back deck for the brothers, who celebrated their 24th birthday on reveal day.

The brothers agreed the renovation was worth all their hard work on the reality show so far.

Luke and Cody will be back on the tools tomorrow as the show moves to Rose and Rob's house in Perth.
