Dancers in talent final

THE Instant Bun dance group is perfecting its moves on the Gold Coast ahead of the Australia's Got Talent finals and a chance to take home the major prize.

The nine talented dancers have been practising their signature moves at Ikin Dance Australia at Varsity Lakes.

The dance group recently beat other talented hopefuls for a coveted spot in the AGT finals.

During the semi-finals host Grant Denyer invited Belle Air, Instant Bun, Liam Burrows and the Old Fella to the stage to learn their fate.

The two acts with the highest number of votes were the Old Fella and Liam Burrows.

It was then down to two acts, with judge Brian McFadden voting for Belle Air and Dannii Minogue voting for Instant Bun, leaving Kyle Sandilands with the deciding vote.

Thankfully Mr Sandilands put Instant Bun through to the final and kept their AGT dreams alive.

Instant Bun member Patric Kuo said the group had been hard at work practising since the

announcement.

“We are rehearsing here all week; viewers can expect a whole lot of surprises,” Mr Kuo said.

“It's always pretty easy going to rehearsal because everybody is very co-operative and fun.

“It's a pretty tight competition so I'm not sure if we will win.”

Mr Kuo said the group had fared well with the three feisty judges, who are known for their sometimes scathing criticisms.

“The judges have been very good. We've had a few negative comments, but a lot of positives so I'm happy with that,” Mr Kuo said.

“We are on the Gold Coast until Thursday, then we fly to Melbourne.

“Our style involves hip hop and break dancing, but we incorporate all styles. We are a hybrid of different genres.”
