Dark days are over as the sun comes out to play
FOR those of us missing sunny days never fear - they're back.
"The outlook's not too bad," Bureau of Meteorology duty observer Alison Skinn said.
"There are a few showers around but not a lot on the radar.
"There's very little rainfall."
On Monday we might see a few showers but from Tuesday on it's looking to be clear with clouds moving on fast.
"Showers are short and sharp and basically will disappear quickly out of the way," Miss Skinn said.
The weather guru said cyclone Sandra, which has intensified to a category three, would in no way touch the coast.
"It's way off the coast now," she said.
"It's heading east off to the coast of New Caledonia."
Interestingly the Tweed will stick to a warm 27 degrees all week.
"I don't often see the exact same temperature forecast all week," she said.
Now that we're a few weeks into autumn the BOM predicts the Tweed will have cooler days.
"In the next three months, temperature wise, the Tweed will be slightly below average," Miss Skinn said.
"Nights will be considerably warmer than the average temperature."
She said there was a 70-75% chance the nights would be warmer due to cloud coverage.
