DASHCAM: Crash on Bruce Hwy at Forest Glen

4WD's horror head-on Bruce Hwy crash caught on dashcam

DASHCAM footage has captured the moment a four-wheel drive and two cars were involved in a serious Bruce Highway crash.

Nambour Forensic Crash Unit officer-in-charge Sergeant Sherryn Klump said police wanted to speak with anyone who had seen a dark-coloured four-wheel drive heading south on the Bruce Highway before the crash.

Sgt Klump said anyone who had noted the vehicle or the manner in which it was being driven between Gympie and the Forest Glen crash site was urged to come forward.

The crash happened about 11.40am Saturday.

Police have today continued investigations, interviewing some of the people injured in the crash.

The injured included a 65-year-old woman and her 23-year-old son, both from Maroochydore, who were cut free from a silver sedan.

A 68-year-old Tin Can Bay man who was driving a red sedan was also hospitalised.

A 68-year-old Buccan man, who was driving the four-wheel-drive, was not injured.
