Daughter of Tweed Hospital’s ICU boss dies in car crash

TWEED Hospital intensive care unit director Dr Mike Lindley-Jones' has paid a tribute to his daughter who was killed in a car crash.

According to News Limited report, 18-year-old Jessica Lindley-Jones was in her second year of medicine at University of New England.

She died in a car crash while driving to the campus in Armidale, NSW, at the weekend.

Dr Lindley-Jones highlighted his daughter's volunteer work as a doctor and nurse in the Solomon Islands

"She'd also helped out in an Indian orphanage. Everybody says how special Jess was. There was something that shone about her," Dr Lindley-Jones told News Limited.
