Rod Davies set to finally return for Queensland Reds

RUGBY UNION: Rod Davies will complete his comeback from a knee reconstruction when he plays his first game for the Queensland Reds since July 2013 against the Cheetahs on Friday night.

Davies (pictured) is one of five changes from the side that lost 32-5 to the Waratahs, replacing Lachie Turner (knee) on the right wing.

Mike Harris, who missed last week with ankle soreness, also returns to the starting side. He replaces Anthony Fainga'a at inside centre, while Chris Feauai-Sautia is in No.13. Fainga'a and Ben Tapuai have been dropped to the bench.

At hooker, James Hanson is in for Saia Fainga'a (cork), who drops to the reserves. Prop James Slipper (cork) drops to the bench, with Ben Daley coming in.

Brumbies flanker David Pocock will have to wait a little longer to find out the extent of his latest knee injury after scans yesterday proved inconclusive. Pocock will miss Friday's clash with the Hurricanes.
