Designer labels stolen

MORE than $180,000 worth of designer clothing stolen from a shop at Bangalow may hit local streets at discount prices, police say.

Thieves forced their way into the clothing shop sometime between 6.30pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday.

They entered through a window at the rear of the property and stole a large number of designer jeans, shorts, jackets and other assorted apparel.

The stolen items were imported from the United States and other countries and include the brands TRBD, Citizen Jeans, Gypsy 05, Replay and Fwy.

Inspector Shane Diehm from Tweed-Byron Local Area Command said local detectives have been collecting evidence to identify the perpetrators.

Anyone with information related to the crime can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
