A COAST boutique showcasing local designer swimwear is set top open its doors today.

Abby Rose Bikinis is the brainchild of Noosa designer Abby Vuister who hand-makes every item.

Founded in 2012, Ms Vuister produces two collections each year and has now set up shop on Arcadia St, Noosa Heads.

She said she was beyond excited to be opening a store in her home town.

"I hand-make every piece of swimwear myself, so it's fantastic to be able to combine my studio and a retail space all in one in the heart of Noosa," she said.

"I will be basing all of my design and production from the boutique."

All items in the collections are hand-made.

Along with all Abby Rose Bikini's latest collections, the boutique will stock a mix of other brands including Kobn, Metal and Dust, Raffia Society, Sunday Somewhere, The Wylde, The Wolf Gang and Wild Folk.

The grand opening is on today at 7/14 Arcadia St, Noosa Heads from 10am-5pm.
