Discover the sights of Japan from Tokyo to Mt Fuji

WENDY Wu tours introduced Japan to their vast range of Asia destinations this year with a successful group tour which saw travellers journey to Tokyo and Mt Fuji, travel from Kanazawa to Kyoto on Japan's Thunderbird Express, cruise along Osaka's Yodogawa River and enjoy 12 days of superb Japanese cuisine.

This Discover Japan package covers the country's main highlights, including major cities, beautiful landscapes, lakes and rivers, historical temples and shrines during a 14-day itinerary which begins with a three-night stay in Tokyo.

The tour then takes in the most-photographed mountain in the world, Mt Fuji, Takayama which gives a feeling of stepping back in time, and a day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Shirakawago to visit traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses.

The tour then visits popular sites in Kyoto, Nara and Koya-San and then finally Osaka.

Priced from $9780 per person twin share, it includes return airfares with Cathay Pacific departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, all accommodation with meals, comprehensive sightseeing with a national escort and English-speaking guides, and all transportation within Japan.
