Doon Doon man airlifted after suffering head injuries

AN ELDERLY man suffered head and multiple other injuries after he fell from a stationary truck on Monday.
My Daily News reported the Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted the man from his remote Doon Doon property at 2pm yesterday.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter statement said the patient was treated at the scene by the medical retrieval team and airlifted to the Gold Coast Hospital.
Gold Coast Hospital was unable to be reached for comment about the man's current condition.
