Drink-driving charges laid

A TWEED Heads driver was charged after returning an alcohol reading more than four times the legal limit.

Police stopped the woman on Kennedy Drive about 6.20pm on Tuesday, where she failed a breath test.

She was then taken to the police station for a blood analysis.

Her blood alcohol concentration came in at 0.215. The woman is due to face court on May 18.
