POLICE have made an arrest after finding a hydroponic drug lab in Kingscliff on Thursday.

The Tweed Byron Proactive Crime Team and Kingscliff police found hydroponic equipment, seedlings and drugs with a street value of $76,000 in a search of a Vulcan St address.

Electricity to the house had been bypassed.

Police charged the 32-year-old offender with a number of drug related matters.

The offender will appear in Tweed Heads Local Court on April 16.
