Drugs found during search at Nimbin property

CANNABIS and amphetamines have been found at a Nimbin property after police executed a search warrant on Wednesday.

About 8am police from Nimbin and the Richmond LAC Drug Unit attended the property on Gungas Road.

Officers located 26 cannabis plants, 0.2 grams of amphetamine, and three grams of cannabis leaf.

A 28-year-old man was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant and possession of a prohibited drug.

He was granted bail to appear at Lismore Local Court in March.
