Dwyer in fine form for milestone game with Kookaburras

QUEENSLAND'S five-time world player of the year Jamie Dwyer warmed-up for his 300th Test appearance for the Kookaburras tonight by scoring five goals in the 7-1 win over France in the World League clash in Rotterdam.

Dwyer scored the first four goals in the rout, including a hat-trick inside the opening 24 minutes.

Kieran Govers and Matthew Swann completed the scoring as the Aussies won for the second time following the loss to Belgium in game one.

The Kookaburras will play either New Zealand, the Netherlands, Ireland or India, depending on overnight results, in tonight's sudden-death quarter-final.
