Earth tremor hits Victoria

Geoscience Australia
IF fire wasn't enough, Victoria's been shaken by an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale around 9pm.

The trigger hit 8km below the earth, and the epicentre is still yet to be defined.

According to reports, the earthquake hit Melbourne and went as far as areas in the Gippsland. The earthquake shook buildings and was hard enough for people in the city of Melbourne to fall off their couches. Some homes lost power for around 10 minutes.

While Victorians are getting over the shock, it's understood there are no reports of injuries or property damage.
