Eco friendly fashion at show

THE Gold Coast Show is set to be fashion forward this year with the announcement a fashion themed-day will be held in the Green Precinct.

The fashion day will be held on Friday September 2 with Gold Coast eco friendly fashion designers selling and displaying their creations in marquis tents in a market-style setting.

No Formula designer and event organiser Sonja Maus said this is the second year the show has featured a Green Precinct but it is the first time a fashion theme has been added to the mix.

“It’s exciting and innovative,” Ms Maus said.

“We will be hold two fashion parades on the day. The first will be at 1pm and the second one will be at 2.30pm.

“It’s so important to support sustainable fashion. There will be so many different types of people at the show and its great exposure for the emerging designers who are taking part.”

The Gold Coast show will run from Friday September 2 through to Sunday September 4.
