Eeva and Greg released to family for funerals

FUNERAL services will be held soon for Eeva Dorendahl-Hutchings and her father Greg Hutchings.

Tweed police have released their bodies to family but do not know how the four-year-old and her 35-year-old dad died, News Limited reports.

The poor condition of their remains prevented a cause of death from being determined and has forced a coroner to use other forensic methods.

Mr Hutchings mother Diana told News Limited she was concerned the bodies were being released prematurely, despite police outlining the difficulties of the post-mortem.

Eeva, 4, and Mr Hutchings, 35, were found dead in beachside bush at Pottsville on January 28 after they went missing for 17 days, following a custody battle between Mr Hutchings and ex-partner Michelle Dorendahl.
