Emergency response to girl stuck in playground swing

A GIRL got a bit of a shock when she became stuck in a playground swing yesterday.

The 12-year-old was playing at Woodlands Dr, Banora Point, when she became tangled in the swing.

"She was in a bit of a panic but once we calmed her down she was easy to get out," Senior Firefighter Mark Whiticker.

The police, rescue squad and NSW Fire and Rescue Tweed Heads all responded to the incident.
