
Emergency services on scene of car and truck crash at Banora Point
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash between a car and truck on the Pacific Mwy at Banora Point.
An Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said they were called to the collision on a southbound lane of Barneys Point Bridge about 4.45pm Wednesday.
She said ambulance personnel were on the scene as of 5pm.
While minor injuries were suspected, she said no further details were available.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokeswoman said fire crews from Tweed Heads and Kingscliff were attending the incident.
The highway was congested through Tweed Heads after the incident.
Police have been approached for comment.
