New era for the Daily News

TODAY marks the final Monday to Friday print edition of the Daily News before we embark on a new era of local news gathering and presentation.

From Monday, our office will produce a continuous daily news service at mydailynews.com.au, the free weekly Tweed Border Mail and the Daily News weekend print edition.

You can also on the website subscribe to the free regular email alerts that will keep you up to date with local happenings.

Tomorrow we will produce a normal print edition of the Daily News at the current cover price of $1.30.

The following week (December 10) we will publish our first bumper weekend Daily News with a cover price of just 50 cents (plus agent delivery for home subscribers).

The weekend Daily News will be great value and include all the major local news of the week as well as some special features like puzzle pages.

We will continue to have a reporter based in Murwillumbah and stories from that area will appear in the Daily News and online.

For any subscription inquiries you can contact your local newsagent or phone 1300 361 604.

For Classifieds inquiries phone 1300 136181.

For any other inquiries please phone our office on 07 5524 6400.

We thank you for your loyal support over the years and we look forward to continuing to report local happenings and championing your issues.

Don't miss tomorrow's paper as we look back on the past and outline the future.
