Eerrrgghhh! Check out the spider living in Katie Melua's ear

Last week musician Katie Melua visited the doctor to complain about a repetitive scratching noise in her ear. As she explains on her instagram, what they found was truly horrifying.

Melua also included a video of the spider.

If you suffer from any degree of arachnophobia, look away now:

So I had a rustling in my ear for a week and went to the doctor to have it checked out this morning. THIS little fella is what they found!
