Exciting changes ahead for Tweed Daily News papers
THE Daily News is undergoing a raft of changes across its print products starting from next week.
Here at the Daily News we're 100% focused on Tweed and, as such, we're restoring Tweed to our name.
From next Saturday, our paid newspaper will once again be known as the Tweed Daily News.
Most excitingly, we will also be bringing readers a mammoth read - or rather, two reads in one.
When you purchase the Tweed Daily News you will get a bonus copy of The Northern Star inside for $2.
On top of a greater insight into the news and issues affecting the people of the Northern Rivers, Tweed Daily News readers will now be getting an eight-page race guide, plus a mega Weekend section jam-packed with food, travel and more.
Meanwhile, we're also re-branding our free community paper.
From this Wednesday, the Tweed Border Mail will be known as the Tweed Daily News Community Edition.
Daily News editor Mikarla Marsden said the paper had a proud history of serving the people of the Tweed and would continue to focus on the shire into the future.
"From here on in, there's only one name you need to remember for news in Tweed and that's the Tweed Daily News," Mrs Marsden said.
