Exciting news for Miranda Kerr and husband Evan Spiegel

MIRANDA Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel are expecting their first child together.

The 34-year-old is already a mum to six-year-old Flynn, who she shares with ex Orlando Bloom, confirmed the news overnight.

"Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family," a spokesman said.

The exciting news comes just over a year after the couple tied the knot.

Miranda and the billionaire Snapchat founder in front of a small group of family and friends in May.

They revealed they were together in June 2015 and officially announced they were engaged in July 2016.

Miranda has said in the past they started out as good friends before things progressed to a relationship.

Earlier this year the former Victoria's Secret model explained she wasn't on birth control, but they weren't trying for a baby.

"Not yet, not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional," she told The Times.

Miranda - who runs her own organic skincare line, Kora - has previously opened up about how she kept fit during her first pregnancy.

"I practised yoga throughout my whole pregnancy and I eat really healthily and I just continued that, really. I have been working out. I've been doing resistance training and some good squats, sit-ups and all that stuff," she said.
