Extra shuttle bus service for residents

CHANGES to Surfside Buslines will take place between Kingscliff and Casuarina over the next six months, to accommodate the closure of Cudgen Creek Bridge.

From this week, a temporary shuttle bus called “Route 603A” will be added to run along Casuarina Way, travelling southbound from Casuarina Village Shops every eight minutes.

Passengers will be linked by the Route 603 service at Casuarina Village Shops bus stop and can travel northbound, as often as every 17 minutes.

Route 603 will bypass all stops on Casuarina Way, between Cudgen Ck bridge and Casuarina Village Shops and travel via Tweed Coast Rd instead.

A temporary timetable for the Route 603A service is available at surfside.com.au.

A Surfside spokesman said departure and arrival times would not change for passengers boarding and alighting at stops at Cudgen Creek Bridge and Casuarina Village Shops.

The bridge closure will also affect school bus services. For further information refer to signage at bus stops or visit surfside.com.au .
