Finding love on the Tweed? No good catches, apparently
WE put a post on our Facebook page asking for tips on how to find love in the Tweed.
We did not expect the response we got. It seems there are a lot of singles, of both sexes out there, frustrated by the lack of suitable partners.
Here is some of what our Facebook friends had to say.
Toni Amadio advised, "Move from the Tweed...the minority who are good are already in relationships."
Zaxh Keen advised to go out to meet a partner, "Depending on your age, you've got Komune, The Cooly Hoterl, or Twinnies at your doorstep. Everyone is catered for."
Steve Grant grant moved to the Tweed nine years ago and is still looking for love, " Beautiful part of the world but so hard to find a really nice woman. Not all of us guys up here are bad eggs."
Moya Jackie suggested using the internet to find love," Meet a nice girl online and get her to move here."
Ian Wood recommends joining a club, "Generally, you wont meet someone for long term at a club, it's when you least expect it that someone will come along."
Leah Marie said everyone who goes out is too young, " I have no idea where to meet nice guys."
Check out our story in Saturday's Daily News about a Tweed girl currently appearing on The Bachelor. She says she went on the show because there were no men in the Tweed.
