Fined $600 after fishing and drinking trip with kids onboard

A DAY of fishing and drinking saw Glenn William Whalley end up in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this week.

Whalley was driving in Kabra on November 20 when he was intercepted by police.

The court heard Whalley had been fishing all day with his kids and told police he hadn't had anything to drink.

But his kids told police he had been drinking all day.

The diesel fitter had a blood alcohol reading of 0.104.

He was fined $600 and was disqualified from driving for four months.
