Firefighters tackle car fire at Cabarita on Christmas Day

FIRE and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service attended a car fire near Cabarita last night.

Rural Fire Service Duty Officer Keith Moss said the fire occurred on Barclay Dr and the car looked as if it had been dumped.

"NSW Fire and Rescue attended the scene, and the Rural Fire Service helped out," Mr Moss said.

"Fire and Rescue were called out first, around 1am."

Mr Moss said the crews were finished on scene by 2.30am this morning.

Mr Moss said the fire, which was near a nature reserve, was put under control fairly quickly.

He said no one was injured in the incident.
