TWEED firefighters were called to a grass fire at Tweed Heads West on Sunday.

Firefighters were called at about 6pm to the blaze on Tringa St.

A Tweed Head Fire and Rescue spokesman said one unit attended the "minor fire" and it was quickly extinguished.
