New Year sees rush on gym

THERE isn't any business that benefits from the turn of the new year as much as a gym or health club.

For all of you squirming in your seats knowing you haven't made good on your resolution to get fit, lose weight and tone up, never fear, there is help for you yet.

Revolution Health and Fitness at Seagulls will make it as easy as possible for you to keep your 2012 resolutions.

All you have to do is take that first step - through the door.

"Take action right now," said manager Larissa Halls.

"Don't just say I want to do this, set the wheels in motion."

But the trainers at Revolution know you can't do it all on your own.

That's why they'll give you free consultations to get you on the right fitness program for you.

Not to mention the added benefits of a new on-site healthy cafe and life coaching to keep your mind, body and soul in sync.

"People need support," Ms Halls said.

"A lot of people don't have a lot of internal motivation so they like to see results.

"They need to know what the right thing is for their goals and be able to reach those mini milestones."

That's why everyone who joins gets a personalised program reviewed every 4 to 6 weeks - to keep you on track to reaching your goals.

And you won't be the only new member.

The beginning of the year is traditionally the busiest period for new memberships.

"Towards the end of January and middle of February the holidays are over, the kids go back to school and people look at themselves and say 'Oh my God, I'm a hideous beast'," Ms Halls said.

"But we're down-to-earth, we're friendly and we assess every part of you so you don't fall off track."
