First year at ‘big school’ in print

TINY feet taking their first steps into the school yard is one of the key milestone memories parents and other family members carry with them for the rest of their lives.

The first school uniform, the first school bag, the smell of new shoes and the joys of the lunch box challenge are mixed in there too, along with a tear or two.

This year, to celebrate our current generation of Kinder students, The Tweed Daily News will publish a 16-page lift-out feature in our print edition tomorrow, March 26.

The My First Year pictorial feature will have plenty of photos of our kindergarten classes from across the Tweed.

Every local school has been approached to be part of it, so it’s sure to be a hit.

So make sure you pick up a copy, or two, of The Tweed Daily News and keep those memories alive for the years to come.

The newspaper is available at newsagents across the Tweed, as well as at the Tweed Daily News office at 13-17 Rivendell Est, Tweed Heads South.

Photos will also be available for purchase separately, if required. Phone 07 5523 6222 or purchase online at www.tweeddailynews.com.au/photos/buy
