INTERNATIONALLY renowned Celtic soprano Kathleen Procter-Moore will headline this most amazing Celtic program, as the Pops launches its 30th Anniversary Subscription Series. One of the great Irish bands of our day is Queensland based Murphys Pigs. Their traditional music features well known Irish melodies played on authentic Celtic instruments. Queensland Police Pipes and Drums are one of the most valuable Queensland assets and they will bring an amazing repertoire of well known and excitingly new Scottish music. Get to the beach for the Roxy and Quiksilver Pro
SATURDAY 1st March sees the start of the Roxy and Quicksilver Pro. Join the world's best surfers led by reigning three-time ASP World Champion and local boy Mick Fanning for the opening stop of the 2014 season. Action takes place at the primary venue of Snapper Rocks with the world's best surfing happening just metres from shore. In addition to the surfing action, enjoy concessions, interactive fan experiences and educational engagements for the whole family.
