Major lobby group urges parties to release full plans
A MAJOR tourism lobby group has urged politicians fighting over other issues this election campaign to release their complete plans for the travel sector.
With just over two weeks to go until Australians go to the polls, the Tourism and Transport Forum has called for political parties to tell the public their plans for the sector, which employs hundreds of thousands of people.
Forum chief Margy Osmond said there had been a piecemeal approach to the sector by all political parties and it was "hardly the way to instil confidence in the industry".
