Fortunate weather brings crowds to the beach
Big beautiful blue skies and crystal clear waters greeted people on the Tweed this weekend with temperatures reaching 23 degrees.
Jack Evans Boat harbour was again a great place for families to visit with heaps of activities like paddle boarding, paddle boats, kids play ground equipment, sand, water and heaps of trees for protection of the sun.
"I like coming down to Jack Evans because it's nice and sunny, it's good for kids and there's always lots to do," Tiane Achouche-Godden said.
Best friend Grace Tilly said "I like the good weather it's nice and relaxing it's just fun."
When asked what their favourite thing to do on a bright sunny day like today was they both said with a giggle "Getting a Tan".
The weather for the rest of the week till Friday will be Fine and sunny, Light to moderate W to SW winds with a high of 25 degrees and some cool nights and mornings with lows of 10degrees.
With the end of winter nearing and spring just around the corner it's looking good for the future.
"The weather is looking pretty good going into spring," Rob Sharpe of Weather Zone said.
"There is a small chance of some showers on a couple of days but it's going to be warmer than usual weather for spring."
