DREAMS are made of hard yakka, just ask the manager of Sydney Football Club and former international soccer star Frank Farina.

Mr Farina will be sharing his wealth of knowledge at the Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro for the Kingscliff District Football Club Fundraising Luncheon at 12.30pm on May 3.

The talk will also feature cricket great Greg Ritchie hosting and soccer star Craig Moore acting as second key speaker.

Kingscliff District Football Club representative Jackie Winton was excited the club had managed to recruit the star-studded line up for the fundraiser.

"We are very excited to have this much talent in one location and to have them share and motivate our local members." she said.

"Our goal is to raise much needed funds for junior development, equipment and clubhouse renovations for Kingscliff football club, all the while enjoying the sportsmanship and interest of sports in a beautiful setting.

Saltbar Beachbar & Bistro Functions and Events Manager Molly Elmo said the bar was happy to help with the football club fundraiser.

"We are pleased to be able to help our local community and support future athletes in our area," she said.
