BEACH soccer will be fast-paced, full of action and goals when it hits the sand tomorrow at Kirra Beach.

The trial event proved so popular last year, organisers decided to create the Gold Coast Beach Soccer Championships this year.

For the competition there will be a generous-sized field with eight teams of five taking part in the four-day tournament.

The door has been thrown open to participants over 10 years to open men and women.

Competitions will run from Thursday to Saturday.

Proceeds from the championships will go to Asteros Association – youth at risk on the Gold Coast.
