French blissing!

WHAT'S romance without food for love?

And where better for food and romance than France?

Dordogne's foie gras, the Champagnes of Reims… ah, what bliss!

For 14 days, you and your love can ramble through the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and Burgundy on an exploration of the senses.

Beginning in Paris, La Francaise tour spends three days in Amboise from where it tours the magnificent chateaux of the Loire Valley region.

It then travels to the Atlantic coast, visiting La Rochelle and Cognac en route to Bordeaux where travellers spend three more days.

From Bordeaux, it's off to St Emilion and the wine producing region of Medoc, before travelling to the magnificent old town of Sarlat in the Dordogne for two days and Beaune in Burgundy for a further two days.

You will be in Sarlat for its famous Saturday markets - arguably the best in all of France.

You'll have the chance for several wine tastings in Burgundy including Pouilly Fuisse, as well as visits to the historic towns of Dijon and Troyes.

An overnight stay in the Champagne region allows a visit to the wine caves of Mercier, the world's largest champagne producer.

The tour concludes in Paris.

Albatross Tours 2009 dates for La Francaise tour are May 22, June 12, July 24, August 28 and September 18.
