Fresh charges against former HSU boss

FORMER Health Services Union boss Michael Williamson has been hit with 28 fresh charges relating to the alleged embezzlement of more than $600,000 in members' funds.

Mr Williamson, 59, appeared in person but did not speak as the charges were read out in a Sydney court on Wednesday.
