Fresh food and friendly service on the menu at Grill'd
COOLANGATTA'S healthy burger joint, Grill'd, has continued to enjoy patronage since opening its doors in 2008 as diners search for healthier meal options.
Paul Milner, owner of the Coolangatta franchise, said the company's key to success was fresh food and a friendly atmosphere.
"The Grill'd experience is also key to the equation," Mr Milner said.
"We ensure that the lighting, temperature and music are all exactly right so that hungry customers can really enjoy their meal.
"Add into the mix some of the friendliest young staff, local craft brews and live tunes and you're onto a winner."
Mr Milner's restaurant was the 13th Grill'd to open in Australia and there's now over 70.
"I was already a devoted Grill'd customer and loved the food so saw this as a perfect way to score free burgers.
"In all seriousness, I was in love with the brand and everything the brand stood for."
Grill'd was the brainchild of Simon Crowe, who founded the first restaurant in Hawthorn, Victoria, in 2004.
He used to complain to his friends that he could rarely find a burger that didn't make him feel heavy and bloated. Mr Milner said all ingredients were sourced from Australian producers and 100% grass fed beef and lamb from countryside Victoria.
"We only use the freshest ingredients - from the meat in our buns to the buns themselves. Everything you eat in a Grill'd burger will have been prepared fresh in that restaurant on that day."
Grill'd is located at 72-80 Marine Pde, Coolangatta.
