Fundraiser Olley good

IT'S just a jump to Murwillumbah, then a step to the Regent Cinema.

Put your hands on your hips, but don't spill your popcorn.

Let's do the time warp, again.

The Friends of the Tweed River Art Gallery and Regent Cinema are inviting you to a special screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show during April.

Friends president Lyn Stewart said it will be a fun but slightly scary way to raise funds toward the gallery's Margaret Olley Art Centre.

"She (Miss Olley) was an iconic Australian artist and when we recreate her studio it will be something everyone in Australia will associate with her.

"The fact that she is still giving: that's exactly how she would have wanted it," Ms Stewart said.

Complimentary drinks and canapes will be served upon entry to the cinema from 6.30pm (NSW) for a 7.30pm start.

A special guest will award prizes for best-dressed people and couples.

Phone the Regent on 02 6672 8265 or the friends on 07 5524 8815 or 02 6672 3327 to book a $25 ticket.
