Fundraiser to help family

A MEMORIAL fundraiser will be held next weekend at the Kirra Sports Club to help the family of John Reynolds.

Mr Reynolds, a loving husband and devoted father, lost his 13-month battle with bowel cancer on Christmas day.

Kirra Sports Club will host a special afternoon of support through sport on Sat- urday from 5pm DST.

John played rugby league at a junior level for Marist Brothers, South Eastern and Maroubra, and went on to join the Sydney Referees Association.

The afternoon will illustrate John's love of sport and fellow enthusiasts can expect a sporting memorabilia auction, as well as a mega raffle supported by brands including Gold Coast Titans, Outrigger Twin Towns Resort, Sanctuary Cove and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

All money raised will go to the Reynolds family.
