Onesies a hot ticket item to keep warm this winter

FUNSIES, onesies and kigurumis - they're all the rage at the moment.

The adult jumpsuits are flying out of Bras N Things Grand Central as fast as store manager Brianna Hofmann can replenish stocks.

"The first time we had them in the store, they just flew out," she said.

"As soon as people see that we have them, they're gone."

Despite Ms Hofmann and team member Anna Bramwell describing the pyjama craze as "a little awkward" and "not that flattering" to wear, residents just can't seem to get enough.

"I think people are going for the cute factor," Ms Hofmann said.

"People want to look as cute and rugged up as babies do when they wear them.

"They are very warm and people just love them."

Two separate styles of onesies are available - one with a flap at the back and ones without.

"The ones with a butt flap are definitely more popular," Ms Bramwell said.

Funsies, technically called kigurumis, are animal-inspired jumpsuits with ears and a tail.

Onesies retail from about $40.
