Get ready for Steady Eddie
STEADY Eddie has long been entertaining audiences across the globe, from the Montreal - Just for Laughs Festival to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and on the 10 May he will be visiting Currumbin RSL.
The comedian suffers from cerebral palsy, but this does not shrink his determination to make audiences laugh, as he is labelled the original 'bent' man of comedy.
He is highly regarded amongst critics, with an Aria award for Best Comedy Album that is testament to his capabilities as an entertainer.
Steady has been touring with S Sorrenson for two years now, an entertainer who is well-acquainted with Steady's comedy style.
"Basically, we've been doing gigs all over the place," Steady Eddie said.
"There's no set name for the tour we are on, just visiting venues across Australia."
Mandy Nolan will MC at Currumbin RSL and has witnessed the two entertain at various venues, spanning from Casino and Woodford.
"Steady and Sorrenson have been on the road for a while … the two address a whole range of subjects, particularly the presence of Coal Seam Gas," Mandy said.
"They will appear at the Nimbin Mardi Grass, something we're all excited about."
Tickets can be purchased at Currumbin RSL or via their website.
