Gilmore eliminated from Roxy Pro after round four win
KINGSCLIFF pro surfer Stephanie Gilmore has been eliminated from the Roxy Pro quarter-finals at Snapper Rocks today.
Fellow Australian surfer Tyler Wright beat Gilmore with a total score of 15.10 against Gilmore’s 13.83 in the first heat of the quarter-finals today.
Reigning world champion Carissa Moore (12.50), from Hawaii, took out the second heat against fellow Hawaiian Malia Manuel (9.57).
In the third heat, US surfers Courtney Conlogue and Sage Erickson will go head-to-head, before Hawaiian Tatiana Weston-Webb and French surfer Johanne Defay compete in the fourth and quarter-finals heat.
