Girl charged over alleged poisoning

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to poison two children.

Police allege the girl administered the harmful substance to the two boys, believed to be 12 and 13, in Richlands in Brisbane on Sunday.

She has been charged with attempted murder, administering poison with intent to harm and two counts of acts intended to maim.

She will be dealt with under The Youth Justice Act 1992.
