Girl power reigns on Womens Day
A TRIO of entrepreneurs will inspire and entertain during International Women’s Day (IWD) at the Robina Woods Golf Course on Tuesday, March 8.
Alison Danziger, Fe Taylor and Lucy Hendriks will celebrate 100 years of IWD with presentations about confidence, fitness and fashion, respectively, followed by high tea and a chance to network. Ms Danziger said all funds raised through the sale of the day’s merchandise would be directed to the International Women’s Day Project which promotes female political participation and leadership.
“As there are over a quarter of a million females living on the Gold Coast now it would certainly be a point of interest for many women,” she said.
Ms Hendriks will spread her fashion-wise messages on the day and aims to teach “women how to dress to their body shape”.
“I try to stress that you don’t have to wear a million dollars to look a million dollars,” she said.
“It’s important for entrepreneurial women to dress right for the corporate world and get the best bang for their buck.”
High tea will start in the Fairway Room at 9.15am and will be chaired by Gold Coast health queen Sam Beau Patrick.
It will run until 11.30am.
